Huawei Mate 9: Why we prefer it to the Huawei P10

The Huawei P10 has many qualities … But not enough to make us slap the Huawei Mate 9! We explain why we prefer the phablette to the Chinese smartphone.
For the first time this year, Huawei chose the MWC to formalize its flagship . We discovered a Huawei P10 performing at all levels, for a price better than some of its competitors. Yet, he did not manage to get us to zap the Huawei Mate 9 … Why? Because it is much less innovative than the phablette was at the time it was presented. Instead of turning the test into a product with novelties, Huawei took over the P9 codes and added to it the strengths of Mate 9. Understandable, but slightly disappointing for a manufacturer of this quality.
Like the Huawei Mate 9, the Huawei P10 is equipped with a Kirin 960 processor … Like it, it has a dual 20 + 12 megapixel photo sensor developed in partnership with Leica. So many features that had made a sensation last November, but that have logically nothing impressive now . Not to mention that the Mate 9 continues to perform better in some areas, including the autonomy with a 4000 mAh battery that allows it to hold 2 full days without needing to be recharged . Difficult for the Huawei P10 to compete! Now, we’re looking forward to the Huawei Mate 10. And you, who do you prefer?
