The identification of bones found on 5 December in a wooded area of Clermont has allowed to establish that it is Rémi Pednaud, aged 72 years, who had been missing since the 8th of last may in la Malbaie.

According to a new report by the Sûreté du Québec, they are two hunters who have made the grisly discovery around 11 am, in a wooded area of Clermont, is around fifteen kilometres of the place where the man had been reported missing.
Rémi Pednaud was last seen Monday morning on may 8, to 5 a.m. on the street in the Park, in La Malbaie.
The SQ had stated that its “particular physical condition” were fears for his safety.
