KUUJJUAQ – human remains were found near a snowmobile abandoned about 25 kilometres from the northern village of Ivujivik, on Tuesday, the police regional Kativik (CPRK).
What are geologists traveling in a helicopter that had made the discovery and notified the authorities. An investigation has been opened.
“According to initial findings of the police, the cause of death would not be criminal,” said Jean-Philippe Dubois, communications coordinator with the Kativik regional government.
Expertise must also be conducted to identify the victims.
