For the year 2019, Hyundai return to the Veloster in its catalogue. All-new, this latest has been unveiled in a premiere during the auto Show in Detroit.

The Veloster first generation was recognized for its asymmetrical silhouette, and Hyundai has ensured to preserve this characteristic. So, there is always a door on the driver’s side and two on the passenger side. It has also retained its hatchback which comes in very handy.

A selection of two engines is available to future buyers of the Veloster. It comes standard with a four-cylinder 2.0 L that develops 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. It is relatively modest. It can be paired with a manual transmission with six reports or to an automatic that into account as much.

In option is available for the four-cylinder turbocharged 1.6 L, which develops, as to him, 201-horsepower and 195 lb-ft. This mill can be mated to a six-speed manual transmission or an automatic dual-clutch seven reports.

As revealed its Veloster, Hyundai also took the opportunity to lift the veil on a spicier version of this car : the Veloster N. On the aesthetic level, we note the red accents, stunning 19-inch wheels, a rear spoiler, that you can’t miss, a diffuser and an output of the dual exhaust.

Under its hood is a 2.0 L turbocharged engine that generates 275 horsepower and 260 pound-feet. Only the manual transmission to six reports is available. The latter can even match the speed of the motor in demotion.

Like any good car that is defined as a sports car, the Veloster N is equipped with suspensions adjustable depending on the driving style desired.
