In the Rostov region detained a 31-year-old pedophile who was selling photos of naked children for Bitcoin. He was a drug addict.

SK the Ministry of internal Affairs for the Rostov region reported that detained the pedophile from Novocherkassk who traded child pornography online. The suspect confessed to the crime – he downloaded and distributed the illegal materials to earn money for living and drugs. He was paid cryptocurrency. The suspect has posted online more than 300 thousand photos and over 11 thousand videos. When the home search, he seized computing equipment, software and storage media, confirming the involvement in the crime. Also found substances resembling drugs – marijuana and amphetamines. They withdrew and directed on examination.

SC opened a criminal case under paragraph “g” of part 2 of article 242.1 of the criminal code – trafficking in obscene material with a minor. It can add 228 article of the criminal code – illegal drug trafficking. Suspect under house arrest, will soon be arraigned. There is an investigation.
