IPhone 7: It’s not tomorrow that it will be made in the US

Will an iPhone 7 made in USA come into being? Donald Trump dreams, and militates in this direction. Foxconn nevertheless cut short the hopes of the American president.
Donald Trump, who still uses a Galaxy S3 , wants to give jobs back to the Americans. For this, the billionaire has a plan: to make an iPhone 7 on US soil. He spoke on this subject with Tim Cook who said that Apple would study the issue. Foxconn, the major subcontractor of the brand, therefore felt that the idea merited reflection. However, the company’s CEO, Terry Gou, was very skeptical before several Chinese journalists. The US government would be unable to provide the necessary assistance “within a few months” to the development of an assembly plant. The country also lacks, according to him, skilled labor. The iPhone 7 made in USA is not ready to see the light.
Terry Gou is not in favor of assembling iPhone 7 in the US. The entrepreneur does not want to start a trade war between the two powers. On the contrary, he wants to develop economic activity in his country, “with Foxconn’s 27 years of experience” . Donald Trump, however, may not hear from this ear. During the presidential campaign, for example, it had envisaged taxing Chinese products at 45%. The iPhone 7 could therefore see its price increase significantly if this measure were to be put in place. This would not be good news for Apple’s interests, and the entire smartphone industry. What do you think ?
