IPhone 9: Samsung should rejoice, to believe the latest rumor!
For the design of its iPhone 9, Apple should appeal to a partner to say the least unexpected: its main competitor, Samsung.
No, no, it’s not a typo. We speak well of the iPhone 9 and not the 8th of the name. The iPhone 8 with the neat lines has not even been unveiled to the world, that already, its successor, the iPhone 9 sinks ink. According to the latest reports, relayed by The Investor and The Korea Herald, Samsung could take part in the production of the iPhone 9 by producing the smartphone headed chip. And this somewhat unexpected and premature agreement between the two competitors is surely justified by the flop of Samsung and its Note 7. This partnership apparently would have confirmed last month after Samsung invested in the design of high-end components that Will be exclusive to the iPhone.
We already knew that Apple might need Samsung to integrate its OLED screens. But the partnerships between the two competitors are not new. The South Korean had already been the regular supplier of Apple for its chips, until 2013, superseded by TSMC. But with LG as support for its next batteries, it looks like the Cupertino firm is going to put the doubles together. These exclusive batteries should take the form of an L, allowing a saving of autonomy but also space for the installation of certain components. Finally, do not speculate too much on the iPhone 9, the iPhone 8 has not even seen the light.
