Urging the minister of Agriculture, Laurent Lessard, to commit to ensuring that the cannabis sold in Québec “produced in us”, the mp caquiste Sylvie d’amours has deplored the “lack of ambition” and “leadership” of Mr. Lessard, wondering if he is still “caught in the storm of the 13”.
The member for Mirabel was a reference to the kerfuffle that occurred on highway 13 during the “storm of the century” last winter, while Laurent Lessard was minister of Transport.
Now to Agriculture, Laurent Lessard, served as a good rebuttal to the caquiste reproaching him for having been conspicuous by his absence at the summit on agri-food in Quebec, which was two weeks ago…
“Ballounes completely deflated”
The leader of the Parti québécois, Jean-François Lisée, addressed to the minister of Health, Gaétan Barrette, accusing him of missing its targets, and to “make up” statistics”. It is subsequently resumed using the term “heal” [the statistics].
The prime minister has served a replica broadside by claiming that there is “jealousy” behind the attacks of the leader of the official opposition…

The prime minister Philippe Couillard
“They [the pq members] have had 18 months, then they had the opportunity to prove to the population that they could truly make a positive impact on the health system, and they do not have just a little failed, they completely failed. The only project he had at that time, it was an insurance policy autonomy, you know, and who has never seen the light of day. Then, by the way, in terms of non-accomplishments and ballounes completely deflated, we look at the 18 months of the government of the Parti québécois”, he replied.
A whip which “screams in the ears”!
The minister Lucie Charlebois has lost patience during the period of questions, imploring the president of the national Assembly to intervene on behalf of the whip of the CAQ, Donald Martel, who “screams in the ears constantly”…
The aptonyme of the day
The mp caquiste Benoit Charette has called on the minister of public Safety, Martin Coiteux, concerning in particular the case of the family Larivière, disaster since the floods of last spring.
This statement contains a tasty aptonyme. The family Larivière… flooded.

It is hoped that the program of compensation of the victims will not fall to the water…
“Our” idea
While the liberal Party have been accused of stealing the ideas of the CAQ, the prime minister Philippe Couillard has made it clear that his government holds the paternity of the supervisory committee of UPAC, which will be named through a vote of two-thirds of the national Assembly.
“By the way, the oversight committee, this is not his (François Legault) idea, it is ours. And the vote of the two thirds, this is our idea”, said the prime minister.
The “surprise” of the day
The independent member Claude Surprising, was absent from the blue room, Wednesday, when his colleagues voted in favour of a penalty, to which he was blamed by the ethics commissioner because of a conflict of interest and misuse of public funds.
Noting his absence, the member pq’s Alexandre Cloutier has been very “surprised”…
