    Look at this article

Ford is preparing to add a diesel engine under the hood of the F-150, and we now know a little more about its performance.

Available at dealerships in the spring, F-150 2018 diesel engine will develop 250 horsepower and an impressive torque of 440 lb-ft, which will be available from 1750 rpm.

The new V6 Power Stroke 3.0-litre Ford will also enable the F-150 to offer a towing capacity of 11,400 pounds, as well as a capacity and a load capacity 2020 lbs in the box back.

Paired to an automatic transmission 10 reports, the diesel engine promises a fuel consumption that is hard to beat. Even if the official figures are not yet available, Ford has announced a highway fuel consumption of around 30 miles to the gallon, or the equivalent of 7.8 L/100 km. For a van of this size, it is impressive.

Only remains to see if the sale price will be as attractive. In this chapter, nothing has yet been announced.

This new diesel engine adds to a range already well developed five other drives may be found under the hood of the F-150 in 2018:

    – V6 3.3 liter
    – V6 EcoBoost 2.7-liter
    – V6 EcoBoost 3.5-liter
    – V6 EcoBoost 3.5-liter high-output (Raptor)
    – V8 5.0-liter
