    While the liberal member for Jean-Lesage André Drolet has confirmed on Thursday that he does not intend to seek reappointment to a new term of office, the leader of the parti québecois Jean-François Lisée is confident that it can wrest this constituency in the next elections as well as other in the region of Quebec.

    In the margin of a speech delivered on the occasion of the annual general meeting of the Parti québécois in the county of Jean-Lesage, Mr. Lisée said he intends to convince many voters in favour of Québec solidaire (QS) and the Coalition avenir Québec (CAQ) to vote for his party.

    “I think there are a lot of voters who are parkés to the CAQ at this time […], they want a change, he said.
