The father of a family has had recourse to the courts to stop the indoctrination of his daughters by their mother, but he feels, however, that not everything is settled.

Jacques*, now separated from his wife, who is a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, it remains linked forever because of the two girls of primary school age that they have had together.

It was found that the mother of the girls, who was taking them to attend the meetings of the religious organization twice a week, had them undergo a “brain-washing”.

“That is what happens in these meetings? It teaches them that it is not necessary to go to vote, they are taught that people who smoke are bad people and that it is not necessary to speak to them. It teaches them that homosexuals are bad apples. It is the husk of prejudice”, denounced the lawyer of the father, Me Nathalie Madore.

In addition, the mother was also going door-to-door to his daughters in the name of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

“It is neither more nor less than forced labour that it wants to make to the children and, under the guise of religion, it becomes acceptable, what should not be,” said the lawyer, who is able to convince a judge of the superior Court of the merits of the approach of the father.

The latter must now pick up the broken pots. “I do not think [my daughters] came out of that completely, because, whether we like it or not, they are still subject to the pressures of their mother,” said Jacques. The teacher of one of her daughters was also invited to see a psychologist, “because they feel torn between what the mother says and what [their father] is trying to teach them”.
