QUÉBEC | The Quebec Finance minister Carlos Leitao will present Tuesday to the national Assembly, in Quebec city, the government’s forthcoming budget, the last before the elections of the 1st of October.

The fifth budget, Mr. Leitao will include expenditure of a billion for supporting families, and new measures to support family caregivers, in order to “give back quality time” to individuals and families, as well as their “simplify the life”.

The budget will also include an increase of 4.5 % in health spending, which will lead to more than $ 38 billion.

Any reduction of additional tax should not be announced to the individuals, Mr. Leitao has reduced by 1 % the tax rate in the economic update of November 21.
