Leïla Kaddour successor of Laurent Delahousse settles accounts with those who denigrate his skills – Gala

A former professor of letters, Leïla Kaddour is the joker from Laurent Delahousse to the newspapers of France 2 at 13 h and 20 h for a year and presenter of Culturebox on Franceinfo, it will inherit the presentation of the journal de 13h on the weekends as soon as the next school year. The journalist, 37-year-old denies that it poses a challenge to his skills. When TéléStar request if for the diversity on television is always a topic, Leïla Kaddour responds : ” It is an old argument misused to denigrate the skills of the people. Some see me as a surname, exotic, or a woman, or a skin color… you are down to this and thus seeks to call into question your professional qualities. This history of diversity, at the bottom, it is often the excuse of the losers.”

She admits, however, that there “was still a work of pedagogy to do so. From this point of view, the presidency of Delphine Ernotte is capital, engaged… It is post-modern ! It will look for skill everywhere, not only in those that had been in the habit of recruiting.”

Then she takes the presentation of the journal de 13h on the weekends from the start of the school while remaining the joker of Laurent Delahousse, Leïla Kaddour doesn’t hide his attraction to the culture and dream of a program on the topic : “things will come”. Laurent Delahousse will host a range of information on Sunday in access prime time, it remains at the head of the editions of the evening news on the weekend.
