LG Electronics has released a new version of its operating system.

LG Electronics has released an open version of their webOS, which is used for “smart” technology, reports Rus.Media.

South Korean company LG electronics, with the aim of expanding the presence of its operating system (OS), LG released a webOS open source.

This means that now, you can install this OS on their devices, or develop applications for it.

LG webOS has previously been used primarily in TVs, but with the release of the Open Source Edition, we will be able to see it on any modern device. According to the chief technical Director P. Park, LG is ready to go beyond “smart” TVs and go from the application to a full web interface.
