An octogenarian from Magog, in Estrie, is accused of sexual assault, incitement, sexual contacts, as well as for making available sexually explicit material.

His alleged victims are three of his grandchildren, who were between 8 and 10 years of age at the time of the events.

The man, 83-year-old was arrested last may, accused by his grandson of 11 years, who he would have touched the genitals.

The child was immediately said to his grandmother, the wife of the accused who did not hesitate for a moment to notify the police.

In the course of the investigation, it was discovered that he would also have committed actions in the place of the brother and the sister of the little boy.

The girl had been assaulted about a dozen times according to what was told to us by the father of the alleged victims. “He’d sit with her to make her watch pornographic videos and were then asked to replicate the sex acts”,-he told.

The man, 83-year-old would have admitted everything to the investigators. Portrayed as a manipulator by his relatives, he would have even tried to declare not criminally responsible for mental disorders.

Subject to an evaluation, psychiatrists have said that you are of sound mind, to the great relief of the father of the children who feared that her ex-father-in-law is doing to good account.

The news of his arrest seven months ago has caused a shock wave in the entourage of the man.

His brother was quick to deny this by posting a message on the wall of Facebook of the accused, of which here are two excerpts:

“You come to inform me of your perversion is disgusting, you are a rotten stinker of abusing three young children who loved you and, most importantly, trusted you”, wrote on the social network, before continuing: “I hope that you’ll spend the rest of your miserable life to feel such a great pain that you have inflicted on the children. They have lost their innocence and a part of their childhood. In my eyes, you’re dead.”

The octogenarian must return to the court on January 25 next. Prosecutors in the prosecution and defense discuss to perhaps have the folder and thus, avoid children having to testify.
