The fifty-year-old murdered and discovered yesterday in a garage in Terrebonne had already been in trouble with the law for offences related to drug trafficking.

It is a knowledge of Francis James Guillemette, 58-year-old, who made the grisly discovery yesterday morning.

The body which bore marks of violence was found inside a garage in industrial, located on the site of a residence of the chemin Martin Terrebonne.

The man had a criminal record for a case of production of marijuana, which occurred in 2000.

Reinforcement

The police did not indicate how he had died, but the incident was quickly treated as a suspicious death. Then the police determined it was a homicide, explained the spokesman of the Sûreté du Québec, Audrey-Anne Bilodeau.

“This is one of the reasons why the investigation was quickly transferred to the SQ,” she said, adding that this is the Division of the crimes of the person who was in charge of the investigation.

Technicians in the forensic identification of the SQ were still on site late in the evening yesterday, as the terrain where the murder was delimited by a large ribbon.

Attached to the phone, the owner of the buildings did not want to give more details about his links with the man.

“I’m at the police station and I don’t know anything. Ask the police if you want information on, ” the man said, before ending the interview.

One of his brothers was, however, confirmed that the victim was renting the residence for many years and worked for the formwork company family-owned for more than 20 years.

According to a neighbor who did not want to be identified, but who knew Mr. Guillemette for more than fifteen years, it was pretty quiet and not invited that very rarely friends.

Under the shock

The neighbor who told the Newspaper, just happened to lend his keys to the police so they can search his garage located a few meters from the place where the body of Francis James Guillemette had been found.

He said he was shocked to learn of the death of the man who was very nice in appearance and which served him from time to time.

“Last Monday I was away for a few days and it has put my garbage in the street,” he explained.

“We never think that it can happen next to your home, this is the kind of thing that one only sees on tv “, he added.

The SQ had not made any arrests yesterday in the late evening.
