This week, the news was overshadowed in a stroke. In Quebec, for the fight advertised between the pq members Jean-Martin Aussant and Maxime Laporte in Pointe-aux-Trembles. The new is this: with Manon Massé as “aspirante” first minister, the next leaders ‘ debate promises to be anything but boring.

Even if the co-spokesperson of Québec solidaire does not have the slightest chance of leading the next government, his presence at the leaders ‘ debates promises to bring his opponents on the real field of the real life.

The PLQ and the CAQ are the two parties federalist centre-right, or right, it is according to perspective.

The direction in which Manon Massé will focus during the leaders ‘ debate will say a very long time on the real strength, or relative to their true values.

Not to mention that there will also be a day after the election on 1 October. The topic of convergence is likely to be back on the mat…
