Two boaters have made a macabre discovery Monday morning on the St. Lawrence near Batiscan, in Mauricie: they saw a body floating in the water.

In the morning, the firefighters of the Three Rivers were made on-site in a zodiac to try to recover the remains. The research has been complicated by the flow of the river and the wind, but the body was able to be drafted in the afternoon.

Is it the man who fell to the water Friday? The authorities could not confirm it for the time being.

Recall that to 1 hour and 20 minutes Friday, a thirty-year-old has decided to take a night swim in the river. He, however, has never been able to regain the shore.

Research, unsuccessful, had been carried out Friday and Saturday without success.
