The minister of canadian Heritage Mélanie Joly is mounted on the ring Wednesday evening in the framework of a boxing match-a friendly at la TOHU for the fight against dropping out of school.

“I’ve had a few tips and life lessons. Even when we hit them, we must be prepared to take a hit. When one is underestimated, one must always have trust and counter-attack”, explained the minister Joly a few moments after his fight.

The event “12 rounds of hope for the princes,” helped raise funds for the school, a program that will host in September its first cohort of students of sport education, with the help of special supervision, will try to get their high school diploma.

“She is beautiful. She is determined, strong as it is around the table of the Cabinet, as it has been in the ring”, noted the prime minister Justin Trudeau.

Several personalities from the world of business, politics and the arts have distinguished themselves in the ring during their fight against Ali Nestor Charles, the instigator of the charity event. Indeed, Mr. Trudeau was in the corner of the organizer.

“Tonight, I’m having fun, but it is difficult to be a coach and not to go into the ring. I am retired… in boxing, not in politics”, is amused with the prime minister.

The minister of canadian Heritage and member of parliament for Ahunstic-Cartierville had a great showing in his fight, as she earned the victory.
