A military court in the garrison of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky will consider case of officer who hit the child thrown into his jeep in the snow. Soldier accused of beating up a teenager.

 

On January 19 last year, two children playing snowballs in the street. Accidentally one of the boys has thrown the snowy projectile missed the target and hit the officers ‘ car. Despite the fact that the teenager immediately apologized, a soldier had committed assault twice struck the child in the face.

The identity of the officer took a few days. The regional investigative Committee opened a criminal case, but it was discontinued for some unknown reason. Chairman SK Alexander Bastrykin has charged to find out why it stopped.

As a result, the materials of the investigation ended up in court. However, the case was reclassified into administrative. The military, in case of his conviction in the beating, will have to pay a fine of 30 thousand rubles. In addition he was awarded a fine or arrest for 15 days or 120 hours of obligatory works. It is noted that the 41-year-old Lieutenant Colonel pleads not guilty in the beating of a teenager.
