Mirabel: a motorist dies after a face-to-face with a heavy weight

    MIRABEL | driver 53-year-old from the Montreal area, died Thursday evening after his vehicle had collided with the full force of a heavy weight on highway 50, at Mirabel, in the Laurentians.

    The man was pinned in his vehicle and it took the jaws of life to get him out of his unfortunate position.

    His body type vehicle trailer has deviated from his path for a reason unknown to 17: 30, making a face-to-face with a truck up to 53 feet.

    The victim was transported to a hospital. The police officer Claude Denis of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) was “extremely critical condition”. His death was eventually found in the end of the night at the hospital.

    “We don’t know if it was the victim of a malaise, or if a distraction led to the accident. The investigation will determine,” he said.

    The truck driver was not injured, but his truck caught fire after completing his race in a ditch.

    Three other drivers circulating in the same area struck debris on the roadway and were leaving for more from fear of evil.

    The accident occurred at km 265,5 of highway 50 has forced the authorities to cordon off the area, blocking traffic in both directions, between km 260 and 272.

    Experts in reconstruction of accidents of the SQ have been dispatched on the spot.
