The administration of Valérie Plant sets up a reflection group to fight against discrimination, whose mandate is yet to be defined.
“It may touch several aspects, including the recruitment,” explained Valérie Plant during a press conference Monday. The mayor wishes to, among others, greater diversity in the institutions, particularly in the public service in montreal.
The composition of the members of the table reflection, which will have a couple of people, will be announced later this week. Haroun Bouazzi, Association of muslims and Arabs for secularism in Quebec, will be a part of, as a member of the executive committee and the office of the mayor.
