Montreal: the loading of the snow begins Wednesday evening

    The loading of the snow will begin as early as 19 h, Wednesday evening, announced the City of Montreal in the morning.

    The loading of the snow is expected to last about four days, said the director of public Works, André Hamel.

    “We are currently completing the removal and installing signs, parking ban, which must be installed prior to 15 h,” he said at the meeting of the executive committee at city hall.

    Twenty centimetres of snow fell in Montreal.

    Last winter, the city has received a total of 227 inches of snow and has been able to count on a budget of snow removal of $157 million.
