The suspect in this case, an individual 25 years of age, was attacked with a bladed weapon a man of 19 years, another 20 years and a third of 21 years. The victims have all suffered injuries at the bottom of the body who do not put their life in danger.

The alleged perpetrator of the assault has been located and arrested, a few hundred metres further on, at the corner of boulevard René-Lévesque and Amherst street.

The event provoked an important and rapid deployment police in the area.

A large security perimeter was erected to protect the crime scene. Therefore, a stretch of Sainte-Catherine street has been completely closed to traffic to allow investigators to do their work.
