    MONTREAL – The Father Emmett Johns, who has died at the age of 89 years, will be on display at Montreal city hall, Thursday and Friday, to allow the population to gather before his funeral on Saturday.

    The coffin of the one that was nicknamed “Pops” will be installed in the hall of honour of city hall, Thursday, between 16 h and 21 h, and Friday, from 13 h to 18 h 30.

    Montrealers will have a last chance to make their farewells to the man of the Church during a religious ceremony, which will also be held, Friday, from 19 h 30 to 21 h, in the basilica of Saint Patrick.

    The funeral will be held Saturday at 10: 30 a.m. at the basilica of Saint Patrick.

    Father Emmett Johns, founder of the body In the street, who comes to the aid of youth homeless in Montreal, passed away on Saturday, January 13, at the age of 89 years.
