For her friend, it was important to hold this gathering to pay tribute to her.
“We lived together, we lived with no one else, we helped her in her stories, she helped us in our stories,” she explained, claiming that Daphne had been there For her when she was intimidated.
And then, what she has experienced touches everyone, Océane argues.
“To be abused by her boyfriend, there are many women who are not able to admit it. There are many who leave too late, just like her, “she said.
“I think paying tribute to it may help other people to say it before it goes so far,” she added.
According to the Facebook page of the event, some 150 people indicated they wanted to be present.
“We are only going to be one, to be able to appease the pain we have in our chest. Candles, sweet words and love are at the rendezvous for the homage to Daphne Huard-Boudreault, “it is written on the page.
