The body of the fifty-year-old was found two days later inside his residence located on the rue Napoléon-Groulx.

Various approaches of investigation were then allowed to go back to the alleged murderer.

In a press briefing given Monday morning, Gatineau police said that the Occasion was returned to live with his mother “a few months ago and that the relationship between the two was stormy”.

    Family conflict

The day before the murder, the police had visited the home of the victim as a result of a call to a “family dispute”.

It is not known what happened in the hours that followed, but things have degenerated to the point where Denis Jr Dompierre would have killed his mother.
