    LAVAL – police in Laval proceeded Thursday with the arrest of two leaders of a major network of theft and resale of vehicles, mainly Toyota.

    Vladimir Casimir and Calogiero Pizzuco, aged 42 years, were to appear Friday at the courthouse in Laval to face different charges in relation to the theft of vehicles.A third suspect, Gilbert, Richer, has also been arrested regarding this case.

    Twenty police officers were involved in five raids on Thursday. They have helped to recover eight vehicles (for a value of $ 500,000), thirty of devices allowing the manufacture of key electronic vehicle parts, and $ 16,000 in cash.

    Casimir and Pizzuco were known to the police and already had a criminal record in the matter.
