A man of 34 years of Saint-Colomban in the Laurentians, which would be introduced among women to steal their underwear and then leave notes of a sexual nature in them has been arrested by the police.

Marco Clément has appeared in court on 19 January in Saint-Jerome under several charges, including break and enter, theft, criminal harassment, and dissemination of image intimate without consent.

He was released under conditions and will need to come back before the court on march 7 for the following procedures.

Marco Clément is suspected of a series of actions of a sexual nature occurred in recent months in the areas of Lachute and Saint-Jérôme.

    Notes obscene

According to our information, it would be introduced in five women in order to steal underwear. It would have also left notes obscene among his alleged victims.

He would have then contacted these same women via the internet to send them, including sexually explicit images.

According to the Sûreté du Québec, the suspect could have more victims, without, however, that they have filed a complaint.

Any person who believes they have been a victim of this individual is asked to contact the Central criminal information of the Sûreté du Québec at 1 800 659-4264.
