    MONTREAL – The week will begin under the sun, with mild temperatures and rising. However, the arrival of a new low pressure system will bring rain upon the whole of the province, between Wednesday and Friday.

    The temperatures are going to exceed the normal, Monday and Tuesday, and could even reach 10 °C in some areas of southern Quebec.

    During the day of Tuesday, the situation is expected to deteriorate gradually. To the south of Québec, the sky will begin to cover in the afternoon and the rain will make its appearance in the evening, for the Outaouais region and Montreal. For the eastern Townships and the Beauce region, this will be during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.

    The winds blow up to 60km/h in the north-west and 50 km/h to the south.

    The arrival of a system that could bring more than 20 cm of rain in some areas, between Wednesday and Friday.

    On Thursday, the showers of rain could change into snow for the north-west. In the south, the sun might re-surface in the morning.

    The levels of some water courses will need to be monitored, since the combination of melting snow and rain could increase water levels, particularly in the centre-du-Québec.
