OTTAWA-The government continues its efforts to deter migrants from entering Canada illegally, by sending a deputy to Los Angeles to meet with the Spanish-speaking community.
Before the possibility of the massive arrival of asylum-seekers from central America, the member québécois Pablo Rodriguez will perform a holiday on america’s west coast during the end of next week, learned VAT News, on Wednesday.

The member of parliament for Honoré-Mercier will have as mission to restore the facts from some members of the Spanish-speaking community who would be tempted to come to Canada via the points of entry illegal.

Mr. Rodriguez, of which Spanish is the native language, therefore follows in the footsteps of his colleague Emmanuel Dubourg, who was sent to Miami at the end of August to the meeting of the haitian community.
The latter had on this occasion some of the meetings with community leaders, local elected officials, in addition to multiply the number of interviews to the media floridiens.
Ottawa also announced on Wednesday that signs will be installed around the border to warn the migrants that they are about to commit an illegal act.
