OTTAWA – The Ottawa police service (OPS) has proceeded to the arrest of seven young people following an incident which occurred in the night from Sunday to Monday, to Ottawa, during which they would have brandished a rifle to lead from a car.

To 22 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a call regarding shots fired into a residence located on Nelson street, said the “Ottawa Citizen”.

Thanks to the description given by the tenant of the house, the officers were able to identify the suspect vehicle, which was already known to the police. A few hours later, the group of young people has been intercepted by the BSF. Two rifles, pellet guns and knives were seized.

Several charges, including weapons possession and mischief, were brought against Dakota Albert, age 19, Alexandre Gauvin, 18, Lorne-David Easton, a 19 year-old and a teenager of 17 years. They were released on promises to appear later.
