A week of Christmas, three families were forced to the street. The shop on the Corner of The gift and the funeral home have also been ravaged by the flames. Fortunately, nobody was injured.

The firemen had to intervene again in the night from Sunday to Monday because of the smoke always escaped the blaze and it was feared that the fire to be reborn from its ashes.

The population of the small municipality in the lower laurentian was not slow to organize. She has raised money and gift certificates to help the disaster victims.

“Funny adon, if you want: we organized a bazaar for Christmas at the pavilion recreation, and when it happened, I slept in 40 minutes and I told myself that the clothes that we would receive, we would set aside for them. So it is only because the event was already in place,” reported Jane Lefebvre, Our House of respite and mutual support.

The Association des policiers et policières du Québec also had to give money to the people affected by the disaster.
