Mini is not a car brand like any other. And its drivers are clearly not the drivers common.

It’s been 15 years that the famous brand with the English origins came back to life. And we can talk about a success. Talk to 297 of the owners of Mini of a few across Canada who are given appointments in Montreal, at the end of last week, for the fourth edition of Mini Invasion, organized by Mini Canada.

On the 14th of October last, these fans have first converged on the ICAR circuit, in Mirabel, where they were able to parade on the track before to get together for a small exhibition friendly.

The owners were thus able to take a look at the cars of other participants and rinse out the eye on a few models brand new, specially modified by dealers in the country. The copy of Mini Brossard, with her looks “Rat Rod”, attracted particular attention.

There were also a few models of that time on the spot, to the delight of nostalgic.

A little later, the hundreds of Mini left ICAR to “invade” Montreal, where an evening celebration was planned to mark the event. Any owner of Mini canadian could take part in the festivities. Was enough to register online, simply.

It was the fourth gathering of its kind organized by Mini Canada. The first was held in Toronto in 2010. We then repeated the experience in Niagara-on-the-Lake in 2014, and then to Ottawa in 2015.
