CALGARY, Alberta – As the region of Montreal a few days earlier, Calgary was the scene Friday morning of an important pile-up involving fifty vehicles on a highway south of the metropolis, alberta.

Eight people were taken to hospital to treat minor injuries.

It is a fog that has hampered the visibility of motorists, causing the pile-up around 9 a.m., according to Global News.

“This has triggered a series of collisions involving the final fifty vehicles”, the policeman said Jeff Bell, by putting into perspective that this kind of incident typically affects five to ten vehicles, depending on their experience. “But to have 50 different vehicles, it is quite important,” he added.
