Prosecutor: Sechin had not provoked the speaker to bribe

The head of “Rosneft” Igor Sechin did not provoke Alexei Ulyukayev on a bribe.This was stated by Prosecutor Paul Filipchuk, who leads the case of ex-Minister.

 

According to him, that the actions of the participants in the case could be considered a provocation to declare their requirements regarding the transfer of funds pledged Sechin, but as investigators established, was initiated by the speaker.

The Prosecutor claims that this happened for a long time to operational activities, himself a former economy Minister could make a voluntary choice to go to illegal actions or not.

Today is a new hearing in the case of the speaker, who is accused of extorting money from “Rosneft” for providing documents, with the result that if the firm bought 50% of shares of “Bashneft”. The former official faces up to 10 years in prison.
