The volunteers of Operation red Nose have continued to travel the roads of Quebec during the night of Friday to Saturday, making no less than 5 149 raccompagnements to the greatness of the province.
By doing this, the 3 423 volunteers who participated in this last night of activity, have allowed the organization reached the milestone of 40 000 raccompagnements since the 1st of December. To this day, this are 29 316 people who have volunteered their time to allow their fellow citizens to return home safely.
The service is particularly popular in the region of Quebec city-Lévis, where 4 085 raccompagnements have already been carried out since the beginning of the season. The people of Sherbrooke are also great lovers of the red Nose, them that have sought 3 814 raccompagnements, far ahead of Laval residents who have requested 2240 transport. In Montreal, the Operation displays 1 674 raccompagnements at the counter since the 1st of December.
For its 34th edition, red Nose offering its service in 101 communities across Canada, including 61 in Quebec.
