MONTREAL | Inexhaustible, a few dozens of volunteers have continued their efforts, in particular by raking the park operators and the banks of the rivière des Prairies, on Sunday, to find Ariel Jeffrey Kouakou, nearly two weeks after his disappearance.

Although the divers are no longer active and that the police officers had stopped the door-to-door to collect information, the research continues and the command post of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) is still in place in the parking lot of the Galeries Normandie.
“It hurts. It touch. We would like to understand what happened,” said a volunteer met by TVA News.
“You need to move […]. For me, it is important to be there to support the family,” added another volunteer, who was preparing to go distribute posters.
As they announced last week, the police continue to believe in the thesis of the accident.
“There is no confirmation that the young would have fallen into the rivière des Prairies. This is the most plausible hypothesis or verified by the investigators, but all the assumptions are still on the table, then several checks are made and it always ask for help from the public”, explained the spokesperson for the SPVM, Jean-Pierre Brabant.
A helicopter of the Sûreté du Québec and boats should be made this week to resume research.
