American, native of the city of Willmar, was seriously injured after his unsuccessful flight on a homemade rocket.

40-year-old man “had created” a self-propelled sled of Bicycle frames, skis, and even used a motorcycle exhaust pipe. Movement of the sled was to provide jet thrust. Antifreeze Heet would-be inventor was used as fuel.

To test his “invention” the man climbed onto the roof of the house, pulled out his “rocket”, sat down and started the engine. Homemade rocket flew, not into space but into the snow, crashing in the fence.

Health care services found “Icarus” on a garage track. The inventor rolled through her at his creation, shouting and swearing from severe pain.
Recall that last year California banned the take-off in a homemade rocket to test the theory the Ground plane.
