QUÉBEC | Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux (CIUSSS) of the Capitale-Nationale region has received more complaints in 2017.

According to figures obtained by TVA Nouvelles with the Law on access to information, the number of complaints has increased from 1104 in 2017 against 918 the previous year.

The increase of these complaints is particularly visible on the side of care and services provided (+104 complaints), and the accessibility to care (+59 complaints).

And this trend should not reverse itself soon, according to the president of the Council for the protection of the sick, Paul Brunet.

“This is the “fun” to balance the budget, but not when it gathers as much of the world against oneself. We are in the process of beating the government on the issue of health because they did not listen to the world,” he said in an interview with the issuance Quebec morning to the antenna of LCN.
