Roads to avoid for this long week-end

    MONTREAL – many obstacles will disrupt traffic this weekend. Here are the areas to avoid in order to facilitate travel during the Easter holiday.

    The ramps from highway 15 south (Décarie) to highway 136 / highway a-720 east (centre-ville) and from highway 15 south (Décarie) to highway 20 west will be completely closed from Monday, 22: 30, Tuesday, 5 h.

    Highway 15 (Decarie) south will be closed between exit 64 (Sherbrooke street) and the entrance of the avenue Girouard, Friday, 23: 59 p.m. to Saturday 5 a.m. and Saturday, 23: 59 to Sunday 5 pm and Sunday 23: 59 to Monday, 5 h. The motorists can make a detour by the rue Sherbrooke ouest, the avenue Girouard and highway 15 south.

    The entrance from Sherbrooke street to highway 15 north will be completely closed from Friday 23 p.m. to Saturday 5 p.m., and Saturday, 23 pm to Sunday 5 pm, Sunday 23 p.m. to Monday 5 and Monday, 23: Tuesday 5 h. The shoulder of highway 20 east to highway 138 west (towards the Mercier bridge), and highway 20 west to route 138 west will be closed from Thursday 23 p.m. until Tuesday, 5 h.

    Exit 55 (Sources boulevard) to highway 40 (Felix-Leclerc) will be closed from Friday 22 p.m. to Monday, 5 h. A detour is possible via highway 40 east, exit 58 for the boulevard Hymus, avenue Delmar and service road of highway 40.

    Also of note is the closure of the tunnel Viger east, between exit 6 (Berri street) and the rue Panet, Monday 21 p.m. to Tuesday, 5 h. A detour is provided on the rue Saint-Antoine.

    Also, the tunnel will be closed in the westbound direction, between the beginning of the motorway (Panet) and the entrance to the height of the avenue of the Hotel-de-Ville, between Monday 22 p.m. and Tuesday, 5 h. A detour is provided via the avenue Viger.

    Finally, the route 138 westbound will close two of three lanes, Monday 23 p.m. to Tuesday, 5 p.m., at the height of the rue Saint-Patrick (Lachine canal).
