Russia will consider the possibility of sanctions against the leadership of WADA

Sources in the parliamentary circles of the Russian Federation said that the Russian government is seriously considering the use of sanctions restrictions regarding the leadership of WADA after their verdict on team Russia.

 

Andrey Klimov, head of the Commission of Federation Council on the prevention of interference in internal Affairs and protection of sovereignty of the Russian Federation, officially confirmed that the Russian government would take retaliatory measures against the Russian team from participation in the winter Olympic games to be held next year in South Korea. It is worth Recalling that the Russian athletes, is not a suspect in doping, were invited to participate in the Olympics under the colors of neutral flag that caused extremely negative reaction of the Russian public.

The Russian Federation has to announce the official decision on the participation of Russian athletes at the Olympics-2018 in Pyeongchang on December 12 as part of the Olympic collection.
