    MONTREAL – police in Montreal were put to an end last week in the activities of a network of sale of drugs, which operated for several years in the sector of Lachine.

    Three suspects have been arrested during the operation, including the alleged leader of the organization, Christian Bussiere St-Jean, 34 years of age.

    “The network was conducting a business of selling narcotics in the area of Lachine, between other inside a location licensee located on the rue Notre-Dame, which had been the scene of a shooting last June,” said the Montreal police in a press release.

    On march 14, the police carried out six searches resulted in the seizure of various quantities of drugs, cash and a prohibited weapon.

    The three suspects pinned have appeared at the palais de justice de Montréal under charges of drug trafficking and possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
