RED RIVER – police officers from the Sûreté du Québec have arrested two people in connection with a case of drug production to the Red River, in the Laurentians.
During a search, conducted in a residence of the Rise of the Tension, on Monday, the police seized more than 340 cannabis plants and the equipment used in the production of narcotic drugs.
Two men, 50 and 55 years, were arrested and then released on a promise to appear at the courthouse of Mont-Laurier at a later date. They could face charges of drug production.
“This investigation has progressed notably thanks to the information received from the public,” said the Sûreté du Québec.
