MONTREAL – The Montreal police is seeking the assistance of the public to identify a material witness in connection with a sexual assault that occurred on the 29th of October last, to 1 p.m., in the city centre of Montreal.

The man of whom a picture has been leaked, who is about 20 years old and rather muscular. It measures 1,77 m (5 ’10”) and weighs 80 kg (175 lb). He has black hair, short, cut-in brush. He eyes potentially dark and speaks English without accent. At the time of the offence he was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans tied under the bum and blue shoes.

“On the 29th of October last to an hour in the morning, the victim returned to his home when an individual stops at the corner of Sherbrooke street and Parc avenue. He tries to speak to him, but the victim told him several times to just leave it alone. The man continues to follow her and when she enters his building, the last of them behind her and assaulted before escaping,” said authorities in a news release issued Tuesday.
