MARIEVILLE | swerve has claimed the life of a man in his seventies who was in a car travelling on the highway 10 at Marieville Monday afternoon.

According to the Sûreté du Québec, a driver lost control of his car while he was travelling towards the west at around 15: 30. By doing this, the vehicle has a rollover.

The motorist, a man whose age was not provided, was transported to the hospital for treating nervous shock.

His passenger, a man in his seventies, however, died during this accident.

Investigators from the SQ were sent to the scene to attempt to determine the cause of this loss of control. Eye-witnesses of the sheer had to be met, while the driver will be questioned when her condition allows, said Claude Denis, a spokesman for the Sûreté du Québec.
