Violently hit by a tractor for snow removal Tuesday at Ville-Marie, the father of singer Gregory Charles fighting for his life in hospital.

“If he is a man who believes in the power of prayer, it is he, has mentioned the artist in a message posted Wednesday morning on his page Facebook. You would be nice, if you have the time, reserve one of your prayers or in your thoughts today.”

It was about 17: 30 when Lennox Charles, 77 years of age, attempted to cross the chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges in a southerly direction. He was struck by a vehicle removal which was on the way to Lookout point to the west.

“He was returning from church where he was going every day since the departure of my mother a year ago, said Gregory Charles. The accident was a brutal one, his state is critical and he is fighting, since yesterday evening, for life, for his life.”

The driver of the tractor, at the age of 69, was not injured.

Investigators from the Montreal police have been dispatched to the scene to understand the circumstances of the accident.
