The boy of 5 years old struck by a car last Sunday in a parking lot in Montreal is now out of danger.

The police Department of the City of Montreal has confirmed on Tuesday morning, in the light of a new bill of health provided by the medical authorities.

The spokesperson for the SPVM Caroline Chèvrefils specifies, however, that his condition remains serious.

The child walked with his mother in the parking lot of a shopping center in the borough of Saint-Laurent, in Montreal, on Sunday morning, when a motorist 90-year-old has struck.

His mother, aged 44 years, has not survived the impact.
