Suspect sought in Laval, in a case of sexual assault

    LAVAL | police de Laval is seeking help from the public to locate a man who allegedly assaulted a woman near the rue Desaulniers, in the neighbourhood of Fabreville in Laval.

    “On January 9, 2018, around 6: 40 a.m., the victim was walking on 2nd Avenue when the suspect was gripped from behind. He would thrust in a snow bank and hit her in the face and then try to let him remove his clothes. The victim struggled and was able to escape,” authorities have indicated in a press release.

    The wanted man would be aged about 50 years. It would measure 1.78 m and weigh 75 kg. He has hair, and brown eyes. During the assault, he was wearing a black hat in wool, a mantle dark, as well as boots and gloves of black leather. He has a scar under the left eye and smelled of alcohol at the time of the facts.

    “A vehicle, pick-up style, old style, pale blue, was nearby and could belong to the suspect,” said Service de police de Laval.
