A hundred Hells Angels celebrated on Sunday, up early in the morning, to the cabane à sucre Handfield in Saint-Marc-sur-Richelieu, in Montérégie, on the 40th anniversary of their presence in Quebec.

Located near the motel Saint-Hilaire has welcomed seven Hells Angels that night. These are the income of the party to 4 am in the morning. They only stayed a few hours, the last of which left the scene around 13: 15, leaving a good tip, given that he had exceeded the time of departure from the motel.

“It was one of my Saturday night, more quiet,” says the manager of the place, Huguette Chagnon.

Police officers of the royal Canadian mounted police were notified last Wednesday of the coming of the group in the region.

“When I saw it, I wondered how it was going to end, this story, she says. Finally, they were very polite and very clean. “

The Hells Angels came to the sugar shack to 17 h, under the watchful eye of the police Squad regional joint of the Sûreté du Québec. The police took the opportunity to bail out their bank information, and note the license plates.

    Members in good standing

Several members of the group were able to be observed by the police officers, as Salvatore Cazetta of the chapter of Montreal, Éric Bouffard chapter South and Bernard Plourde chapter of Trois-Rivières.

At motel Le Transit in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, 15 rooms were reserved for the Hells Angels. In all, 25 of them had slept after the party, some of which are income to 5 p.m., at dawn. They left quite early on Sunday morning.

At the hotel Les Trois Tilleuls in St-Marc-sur-Richelieu, three rooms were reserved for the group of bikers. The butler left the site at 3 am in the morning and no one was even home from the sugar shack.

According to neighbors of the sugar shack, the festival was nearing its end around 2: 30 in the morning. They have noticed a stronger police presence in the street.

    Atmosphere rock

Of the employees who were cleaning the place the next day, they found that the group had consumed more alcohol than their other customers who have made reservations. One of them spoke of five to six crates of beer and at least four cases of wine. However, the number of guests was also higher than usual.

According to the employees, the atmosphere was decidedly more rock and rough.

“We have not had a return of the police officers and investigators for a particular event,” said Audrey-Anne Bilodeau, a spokesperson for the SQ. This does not mean, however, that nothing has happened, she says.
